Former ERAE editor C.J.P. (Kees) Burger, died on September 7th, 2016 at the age of 65. He just retired in April 2016 as associate professor of the Development Economics Group at Wageningen University. The ERAE’s 2015 Impact Factor came in at 1.544, ranking it 4th out of 17 journals in the Agricultural Economics and Policy Category. The 2014 Impact Factor was 1. 271, also ranking ERAE as 4th out of 17.

In its meeting on May 19, the Board of the Foundation appointed Chantal Le Mouel as member of the Board. She was nominated by the EAAE, the European Association of Agricultural Economists, that she currently serves as president. She is the successor of Giovanni Anania who suddenly passed away last year.
